Antique French Brass Lantern Louis XVI Style
This pretty lantern has a single bayonet bulb suspended from a decorative cast ceiling rose and gilt chain which can be adjusted for height.
There are four clear glass panels, two of which are etched. All four are held in place by decorative brass castings.
To the base is a turned brass finial.
The brass on this elegant lantern is in excellent condition. The piece has been re-wired with a gilt antique braided flex. The glass is in good condition with the exception of one minor shelling to the bottom of one etched piece of glass - please see photographs.
The lantern has been tested and is working. All electrical appliances should be tested and installed by an approved electrician.
