Antique French Burr Elm Folding Games Table 19th Century
 
This beautifully figured burr elm games table features quarter-matched burr elm veneer panels to the top and underside playing surface.
 
It has a beaded moulded outer edge with a full-width drawer below the opened / extended top. The drawer supports one side of the table top.
 
The games table stands on bulbous bobbin-turned legs with distinctive grain patterning.
 
With a newly laid baize it is perfect for playing an assortment of card or other games.
 
The piece has been checked over, cleaned and professionally re-waxed by our restorer. Overall in very good condition and the elm has an outstanding mellow colouration and pleasing patina.
