Impressive Antique French King-size Bed Louis XVI Style
 
This impressive French King-size bed is made of mahogany with inlaid ebony stringing lines. 
 
The head and foot-board panels are veneered in quarter book-matched burr walnut as are the rounded corners of the uprights.
 
It is decorated with elaborate ormolu mounts to head and foot-boards.
 
This sturdy bed is of solid construction and has been checked over in our workshop, where it has been cleaned and re-waxed in the traditional manner.
 
The side rails are been sympathetically extended to allow for a 200 cm x 145 cm mattress or a 200 cm x 150 cm mattress.
 
The bed requires a slatted base (not supplied but we can provide provide details of suppliers - please ask).
 
The bed will be dismantled for shipping and will be in three parts.
