Antique French Mahogany Washstand
 
Of good proportions this washstand features a white variegated marble top and raised gallery to three sides.
 
Below the top is a full-width drawer constructed in oak with dove-tailed joints and a central divide.
 
To the front is a turned inset drawer pull with book-matched flame mahogany veneer to either side.
 
Flanking both sides are turned towels rails. The turned front legs lead down to a slightly recessed lower shelf with a central ring to retain a wash bowl, a feature rarely found.
 
Above the gallery is a lyle-shaped frame supporting a round tilting mirror.
 
Overall the washstand is in excellent condition after passing through our workshop where it has been checked, cleaned and re-waxed.
 
The mirror will be removed for transport.
 
Please note that the ceramic wash bowl and pitcher are not included.
