Antique French Farmhouse Table in Oak seating ten people
 
A solid oak French Farmhouse Table featuring an unconventional planked top. The planks are fitted vertically rather than in the usual horizontal method.
 
The pronounced figuring gives a pleasing visual finish.
 
To two sides there are molded concave edges.
 
With sturdy oak turned legs, the oak frieze is joined at each corner with mortise and tenon joints that are pegged in the traditional manner.
 
Under the top at each end are pull-out table leaf supports that would support drop-down leaves. The leaves are no longer there but could be made to extend the table.
 
Overall in excellent condition for its age with minor age-related marks to the top (please see photos).
