An impressive lamp of good proportions with the crisply cast spelter urn finished in a bronze patination. The urn on this decorative French Antiques Table Lamp is decorated with floral and foliate stylised flowers leading down to swags and ribbons above two small plaques with female and male heads.
 
To the base there is a gadrooned stem with leaf decoration. There is also a small bird (possibly a swallow) resting on the centre of the urn. This all sits on a Rossa Verona marble supported on ormolu feet. 
 
The lamp is in full working order with an in-line torpedo on-off switch and is currently fitted with French two plug, which can be easily changed. As with all electrical items, we recommend that you have it checked by an approved electrician. The shade is in a natural skin.
