Antique French Walnut Chest of Drawers (19th Century)
 
This well-proportioned Antique French Walnut Chest of Drawers / Commode has beautiful and well-balanced book-matched veneered drawers.
 
The three drawers are of dovetail construction with turned drawer pulls and pressed brass keyhole escutcheons with working locks and keys.
 
To each side are turned tapering pillars in solid walnut. The sides are made of solid walnut book-matched panels and the top is made of solid walnut planks, displaying its finely aged character.
 
The commode has been through our workshop where it has been cleaned, re-polished and finished in a traditional wax polish. The drawers have been re-run to give many years of smooth service.
 
Overall in excellent condition with only age-related marks.
