Antique French Four Drawer Walnut Commode Louis Philippe Style
 
A well-proportioned antique commode featuring four equal-sized drawers of full width.
 
The drawers are constructed in oak and have dovetail joints with a wild book-matched walnut veneer to the fronts.
 
They all have working locks and key with bronzed swan neck drop handles.
 
The canted corners lead down to a moulded plinth, which sits on four casters for ease of movement.
 
The top is veneered in book-matched walnut and the sides are in solid walnut.
 
The piece has beautiful figuration to the veneers and gloriously mellowed colours from exposure to natural light.
 
The commode has been through our workshop where it has been checked over, cleaned and re-waxed in the traditional manner.
 
Overall in great condition, ready to place in the home.
