Antique French Walnut Washstand
 
A lovely example of a French walnut washstand featuring a white marble top and surrounds with a warm mellowed patina to the wood.
 
Below the top is a full-width drawer of dovetail construction with turned drawer pulls and moulded decoration.
 
The well-turned tapering front legs lead down to a recessed full-width shelf below terminating in turned bun feet.
 
Flanking each side are turned towels rails.
 
Overall this good solid washstand is in excellent condition after passing through our workshop where it has been checked over, cleaned and waxed. An old restoration to the base of the rear legs has been checked over and is in good solid condition.
