French Art Deco Sculpture Diana the Huntress Figurative Group by Emile Joseph Carlier.
A large impressive scene of Diana the huntress hunting a pair of antelope.
The figurines are mounted on a trapezoidal base of portico, marble and onyx.
The piece is signed by the French sculptor Emile Joseph Carlier (1849 - 1927), who studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
The figurines are cast in spelter and are cold painted. The spear is in bronze.
The figurative group retains its original aged patina and is overall in great original condition.
