A very pretty figurine of a lady kneeling with two birds (pheasants) resting on her outstretched hands.
 
This Art Deco Sculpture by Italian artist-sculptor Salvatore Melani (1902-1934) is in a chrome finish with a black and gold cold-paiinted dress. The lady is perched on an onyx and variegated marble base.
 
This piece is signed S Melani and is overall in very good condition with very slight patina wear - please see photographs. There are a few minor nibbles to the base consistent with its age.
