A pretty red variegated marble has been laid into the oval top of this grey painted side table with the convex molded frieze below decorated with floral motifs.

This all sits on turned tapering tapering and fluted legs leading down to a caned shelf below.

There are some very minor knocks on the paintwork and a little darkening of the cane, which is in keeping with a piece of its age.

The whole piece has been checked, cleaned and a clear wax finish applied to the top.

This piece dates from the Second Empire / Louis XVI Revival period.
