French Chest of Drawers Cabinet Louis XVI Style.
 
This neat-sized chest of drawers/cabinet is made of mahogany with the top having a moulded outer edge to three sides.
 
Sitting below are four oak drawers with mahogany veneered fronts, which are framed with brass moulding. The drop ring pulls and faux escutcheons are also in polished brass.
 
Each drawer is lined with a green baize.
 
On each corner there is reeded decoration leading down to tapering turned short legs terminating in brass turned feet.
 
This smart little unit has been through our workshop where it has been checked, cleaned and waxed in a traditional finish, ready to place in the home.
 
There are some minor surface marks commensurate with age (please see photographs).
