A fine example of a king size caned bed in great condition.
 
Carved into the head and tail frames are floral motifs. The shorter footboard stands on cabriole legs reaching a carved scroll top.
 
This beautiful French bed has been checked in our workshop where it has been cleaned and waxed.
 
A typical way of supporting a mattress would be to use a wooden slatted mattress support made to fit (not included).
 
It will take a 150 x 190 cm mattress.
