French Rustic Kitchen Work Table (Table à Pain/Dough Board/Working Table) from the Basque region with one large drawer.

The table top is planked in cherry wood with a lovely warm patina.

Underneath the drawer is an attractive frieze.

The main construction is all dowel-jointed to the legs, which taper to the ground.

The overall patina shows many years of good use and has been waxed to preserve this.

The construction is in a very basic rustic country style and there is a little evidence of old woodworm damage. It has all been treated.
