The plaque bears the maker's name: G. Bareyt & Fils, Naturalistes (Taxidermists) from Gouts in Nouvelle Aquitaine.

 

Inscribed to the rear of the plaque is the date 15/12/73, the name Gerard Montabut and an address (see photo).
