Pair of French Mid Century Macassar Ebony Bedside Cabinets
A great example of Mid 20th Century French furniture, this matching pair of bedside cabinets features striking Macassar ebony veneer with elegant grain and rich, contrasting tones typical of mid-century design.
The cabinets are raised on tapered legs with brass feet and fitted with a single full-width drawer with original stylised brass drawer pull. The clean lines and refined proportions make them suited to both contemporary and classic interiors.
Having been cleaned and polished in our workshop, this attractive pair is in good condition with a gloss lacquer finish that highlights the Macassar ebony. There are minor knocks and marks to lacquer finish commensurate to age (please see photographs). The legs are removable for shipping.
