Pair of French Bedside Cabinets with Craquelure Finish in Louis XV Style.
 
This delightful pair of bedside cabinets have been delicately painted with floral motifs onto a cream craquelure base.
 
Below the gallery top sit three serpentine-fronted drawers with decorative ormolu handles. Cabriole legs lead down to petite ormolu mounted feet.
 
In good condition with some minor blemishes to the paintwork as seen in photographs.
 
The material of the cabinets originates from Port-Gentil Gabon. The factory Compagnie françcaise du Gabon ran from 1930s to 1970s and the manufacturer's label can be seen on the underside of one drawer.
